Welcome to our blog!

This is where the fun begins outside of the Theme Parks! A little bit of the real Florida and a taste of what this part of America is all about (& what many people unfortunately do not necessarily get to see).  Florida was once known as "a most inhospitable place" and is now one of the top travel destinations in the world.  Delve a little deeper here to see unique things this State has to offer...

If it’s a gorgeous sunset you’re after….

Updated: Mar 17, 2018

Then this is the place you need to visit!

Aptly named “Sunset Beach Park” (pretty original, huh?) it really is worth the effort to get over here to the gulf coast😊

It’s located in Tarpon Springs, around 15 miles north of Clearwater.

It’s actually a small peninsular, almost an island, with parking, bathrooms, small covered pavilion and several benches (although you would probably want to bring chairs if you can unless you’re thinking of getting here a while before sunset)

There are several palm trees at the edge of the beach which make it look quite exotic (compared to other landscapes) and the view has been spectacular the few times that I’ve been.

It can sometimes be a little cool as the sun goes down and so bringing a sweater wouldn’t be a bad idea just in case.

Some people bring picnics or drinks whilst they wait for the sun to drop – which happens quickly once it starts.

It’s a nice way to end the day or start an evening… enjoy!

Sunset beach can be found at 1800 Gulf Road, Tarpon Springs FL 34689
